We are located in the Subramaniyam Building, which is number 4 on Bharathidhasan Street. It’s right in the Tiruchirappalli Cantonment area, very close to Kembiyan School. Because we are so close to the school, we get a lot of parents and kids coming in during the morning and when classes let out. It’s a supermarket, so we carry a bit of everything. We have aisles for groceries, household items, and snacks. It can get pretty hectic in the evenings when everyone is trying to get their shopping done before going home. We have a few checkout counters, and we try to keep the lines moving, but sometimes the credit card machine acts up or someone forgets to weigh their vegetables. It's all part of the daily routine. The staff here are mostly local people from around the Cantonment. We spend a lot of time restocking the shelves because things disappear fast. We aren't one of those massive malls; we are just a neighborhood supermarket where people can get what they need without driving too far. The building is older, but it stays cool enough with the fans. We’ve been here for a while now, and we know most of the regulars. It’s a lot of work keeping track of all the different items, but we like being in the middle of all the action on Bharathidhasan Street.
