Comtech Systems

We are over at Number 9 on 10th Cross in Thillai Nagar. It’s a good location, not too far from Athma Hospital in Pennur. Comtech Systems is basically a place where we fix computers and help people with their home or small office networks. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while now. The street can get a bit crowded with parked cars, but we managed to make it work. Most of our day is spent looking at motherboards or trying to recover files that someone thought were gone forever. It’s satisfying when you can actually save someone’s photos or work documents. We aren't a big chain store with uniforms. We just wear whatever is comfortable for crawling under desks to plug in cables. The shop has shelves full of old parts and boxes of new stuff waiting to be installed. We get a lot of people coming in from the hospital area, both staff and visitors who had something break while they were out. It’s a steady pace of work. We don't do much advertising because we're usually busy enough with the people who just walk in. We try to explain what’s wrong with a computer without making it sound like a space mission. It’s just hardware and software, and most things can be fixed if you have the patience. It’s a lot of sitting and concentrating, but we like it.
