Ayodhya General Store

The shop is located at 125,/1 W.B Road in Trichy and it has been our daily life for a long time. It is a simple setup where we sell groceries and household items to the local residents. Trichy can get really hot, so the shop is often a place where people stop for a cold drink while they are out. We have sacks of rice and different kinds of spices stacked along the walls. The space is a bit tight, especially when we get a new shipment of goods. I usually spend my day on a wooden chair near the front, watching the traffic go by on W.B Road. It is a noisy area but you get used to it after a while. We do not have any fancy signs or marketing stuff here. Most people find us just by walking past or because their neighbors told them about us. My son helps out in the evenings after his classes are over. We try to keep the most common things people ask for, like tea leaves and cooking oil. The floor is a bit worn out from all the years of people coming in and out, but it stays clean enough. We are just a regular general store serving the 620008 area. It is not a big corporate operation, just a family-run place doing its best every single day.
