Yuvan Crop Producer Company Limited

Yuvan Crop Producer Company Limited is a group we started over here in Tikamgarh. We are based in a village called Dargoan Kala, and Ravindra Singh is the person who mostly handles the coordination for us. We are in the 472101 area of Madhya Pradesh, which is where we all live and work. The word "Yuvan" in our name is there because a lot of the younger people in the village are getting involved now, which is good to see. Farming is tough, and if the young ones don't take it up, the village will eventually empty out. We spend our days out in the fields, and our evenings talking about things like crop rotation or how to get the tractors fixed. We aren't some professional corporate entity. We are just a bunch of neighbors who decided to put our resources together. It’s about being practical and helping each other out when someone’s crop fails or when the market prices drop suddenly. We don't have any big marketing slogans. We are just trying to keep the farming tradition alive in Dargoan Kala while making sure we don't go broke doing it. It’s a lot of sweating in the sun and worrying about the rain, but it’s the life we know. We just want to make it work as best as we can for everyone in the group.
