Tikamgarh Agro Food Processing Cluster Association is located on Dhonga Road. We share space with Rakesh Kumar Sahu’s place. It’s a busy road in Tikamgarh and there is always something going on outside. Our association was formed to help with food processing in this region. There are several of us involved, and we spend a lot of time figuring out how to make the local processing units work better together. It is not a shiny office. We have files stacked up and the furniture is a bit old, but it is functional for our needs. When you are dealing with a cluster of businesses, there is a lot of back-and-forth communication. We have meetings that sometimes go on too long and we drink a lot of tea while discussing the latest rules or equipment needs. Being in the 472001 area means we are right where we need to be to stay in touch with the local food producers. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy speeches. We just talk like regular people because that’s who we are. Some days are stressful when the machinery breaks down at one of the units or when the power goes out, but we try to help out where we can. It is about keeping the food industry here in Tikamgarh moving forward in a way that makes sense for everyone. We just take it one day at a time and try to solve the problems that come up during the week.
