Stitchbird India Private Limited

We are Stitchbird India Private Limited. You can find us at Karshaka Nagar in Kunnethupediya. That is over in Kottekad, near the Kuttur post office in Thrissur. Kerala is where we belong and we’ve been set up here for a while now. The address is 1/381A if you are looking for the exact door. We aren't a big factory with smoke coming out of it. It’s more of a focused workspace where we handle our sewing and textile work. We chose this spot because it's quiet and the people around are friendly neighbors. Every morning we open up and start going through the orders. It’s a lot of manual work and checking small details on the fabric. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just what we need to get the job done properly. The name Stitchbird kind of stuck with us early on. It feels right for the kind of small-scale things we do here. Sometimes the heavy rain in Thrissur makes it hard to move materials around without them getting wet, but we find a way. We don’t have a big corporate manual to tell us what to do. We just talk to each other and fix problems as they come up throughout the day. Most of the staff comes from the local Kottekad area. It feels good to provide some work right here in the neighborhood. We are just a group of people trying to make a living and doing work we aren't ashamed of. It keeps us busy.
