Junior Officer

Living and working out of Chulliparambil House in Kanjany keeps things pretty simple for us. Being a Junior Officer involves a lot of looking over files and making sure the daily tasks are sorted. It is a quiet area here in Thrissur, which is nice when you have a lot of reading to do. The post office is right nearby so that makes it easy to send off documents when we need to. Sometimes the desk gets a bit messy with all the papers, but that is just how it goes. My family has been in this house for a long time. It is not a big office with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a regular home where work happens throughout the day. I usually start early before it gets too hot outside. Kerala weather can be really humid, so the fans are always running. People stop by sometimes to ask about paperwork or just to say hello. It feels more like a community thing than a formal business. I try to stay on top of the requests that come in. Kanjany is a good place to be based. The 680612 pin code is what I always write on the envelopes. There is always something to be filed or checked. It might not be the most exciting work, but it is important to get the details right. I just do my part and keep the day moving. It’s what I’ve been doing for years now.
