The Mannuthy Bypass is always noisy with trucks and cars going past Kuttanalloor. Samson Pharma is right here, catching all that road dust and the sound of engines. We get used to the noise after a while. The shop is a practical space. We have the counters, the glass cabinets, and plenty of boxes in the back that need sorting through. Working near the bypass means we see a lot of travelers as well as the local Kuttanalloor residents. The morning routine is always the same. Unlock the doors, check the fridge temperature for the medicines that need to stay cold, and start the kettle for some tea. It’s a simple setup. We don’t have any fancy signs or neon lights. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they’ve looked this way for years. We spend a lot of time talking to the delivery drivers who are always in a great hurry to get back on the highway. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour, and we just sit there in the dim light until it comes back on. It’s just part of being in this area. We focus on getting the right items to the people who walk in. It’s honest work and it keeps us occupied from morning until late evening. There’s always a new box to open or a dusty shelf to wipe down. We just keep at it and get the job done.
