Priya Traders

Down in Kunnamkulam, specifically on Vadakkanchery Road, you’ll find us at Priya Traders. We are in the Town Centre, right near the Town Juma Masjid. It’s a prominent spot, and the call to prayer is part of our daily rhythm. Being in Thrissur, we deal with a lot of different goods. Our shop at 1/400F1 is usually packed with items from floor to ceiling. We don't have a lot of extra space, so we have to be organized, though it might look a bit cluttered to an outsider. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here. We know the neighbors and the other shopkeepers along the road. People come in to chat as much as they do to buy things. We don't use any high-tech systems for our trading. It’s mostly about knowing the prices and having a good relationship with our suppliers. The traffic on Vadakkanchery Road can be a nightmare during festival seasons, but that’s just life in Thrissur. We’ve been here long enough that the noise doesn't bother us anymore. We just keep the doors open and wait for the next customer to walk in. If someone needs something we don’t have, we usually know exactly which shop down the street has it. That’s just how we do things in the Town Centre. It’s about being part of the community more than anything else. We've seen many businesses come and go, but we are still here.
