Prana Yoga School Of Holistic Health Clinic is located at 4/448, right opposite the BSNL Exchange on Chittilappily Road in Amalanagar. It is a quiet enough spot, which is good for what we do here. Being across from the BSNL Exchange makes it easy for people to find us. Chittilappily Road has its share of traffic, but Amalanagar is generally a peaceful area compared to the city center. Our space is used for yoga and thinking about health in a broader way. We have a big open floor where the mats go, and the windows let in a fair amount of light during the day. It is not a high-end fitness center; it is more like a community room where people come to move and breathe. We have some basic equipment and a small area for talking to people about their health. The building is older, but it has a good feel to it. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood outside, maybe a dog barking or a car passing by. We don't have a lot of rules, we just ask people to leave their shoes at the door. It is a simple setup, run by people who live nearby. We spend our days teaching and staying in the routine of the school. It is just a regular place in Amalanagar where yoga happens every day. We usually close up once the evening sessions are done and the sun goes down.
