We are based out of the Edayapuram house in Poolany, which is part of Meloor in Kerala. It’s a quiet place, quite different from the big cities. The air is a bit fresher here and there’s a lot of greenery around the office. We handle things for the company from this side of the state. It’s a simple setup in a house, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed than a standard office. We have our routines and we stick to them. Most of the people working here are from the local area. We know the neighbors and the people walking by on the road. It’s the kind of place where you hear the birds in the morning while you’re sorting through the mail. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment or high-tech gadgets everywhere. Just the basics to get the job done. Sometimes the power goes out during the monsoon, and we just sit and wait for the generator or for the lights to come back on. It’s a steady pace of life. We deal with the paperwork and the calls as they come in. Being in Meloor means we are away from the rush, which is nice in its own way. We just keep things moving along without making a big deal out of it. It’s just us here at the house, working through the piles of documents every single day.
