Al Ifthar Frozen Foods

Al Ifthar Frozen Foods is based out here in Kaipamangalam Kalamury. We’ve got a couple of big freezers where we keep everything cold. It’s a small operation, mostly handling packets of meat, vegetables, and some snacks that people like to fry up at home. The power goes out occasionally, so we have to keep an eye on the generators to make sure nothing thaws out. That’s the hardest part of the job, really. We supply some of the local shops around this area and people stop by the unit too. It’s not a big supermarket or anything, just a workspace with cold storage. The floor is usually a bit wet from the cleaning we do every evening. We get our stock delivered early in the mornings when it’s still cool out. My brother and I mostly run the place, along with a driver who takes the small truck around. We don't have a fancy office, just a desk near the door for the bills. People around here know us for being reliable with the deliveries. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from dawn till late evening. We don’t do much advertising, word of mouth works well enough in a place like this. Sometimes we have to stay late to unload a new shipment from the city. The noise of the freezer motors is something you get used to after a while. We just keep things frozen and move them out to the shops as fast as we can. It's a steady life.
