Porkalai Exports

We are located at No. 111/11g/7-7 in the State Bank Colony in Tuticorin. Being in a port city like Tuticorin means we are always thinking about ships and containers. Porkalai Exports is a small setup. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking emails about shipments. The State Bank Colony is a familiar area for us. It is where we do all our planning and paperwork. Some days the salt air from the coast is really strong. We have piles of documents everywhere because exporting involves a lot of forms and stamps. It can be a headache sometimes, but we are used to it by now. We do not have a big team, just a few of us who know how the system works. We handle a variety of goods depending on what is in demand. The office is nothing special, just some sturdy tables and a couple of computers that have seen better days. We start early because the shipping world does not wait for anyone. We drink a lot of coffee and try to keep everything on schedule. Sometimes things get delayed at the docks and we just have to be patient. It is not a glamorous job, but it is our job. We like being part of the trade here in Tuticorin and we just take things one day at a time. The heat can be tough, but we just keep the fans running.
