Svm Exports

Svm Exports is tucked away on 6th Street West in the P&T Colony of Tuticorin. Being in a port city like this, there is always a lot of talk about shipping and movement. We’ve been at No. 2f/1049 for a few years now. Our office isn't anything to brag about, just a place with some desks and a lot of logbooks. We spend most of our time coordinating between suppliers and the ships at the harbor. It involves a lot of waiting and then a lot of rushing all at once. That's just how the export business seems to work here. We don't try to sound like some big international firm. We are just local people trying to make a living by helping goods get from one place to another. Sometimes the heat in Tuticorin is almost too much to bear, so we drink a lot of water and try to stay under the fans. We know most of our neighbors in the colony. It’s a decent place to work. We don't have any grand statements to make about our goals. We just want to make sure the crates are packed right and the papers are signed so everything gets where it needs to go without too much trouble. It is a lot of routine, but every now and then something different happens to keep us on our toes. We just take it one shipment at a time and try to stay organized.
