We are located over at Brayant Nagar, specifically on 1st Street-West here in Tuticorin. Most days it’s pretty hot outside, so we try to get the heavy work at the smelter and refinery unit started before the sun really gets going. D.No-1B isn't hard to find if you know the neighborhood, but sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it a bit of a crawl. People around here just call us the copper plant guys. The office itself is nothing fancy, just desks, some old filing cabinets, and the sound of the ceiling fans clicking away while we handle the paperwork for the refinery operations. We spend a lot of time checking on the machinery and making sure everything is running okay. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, but that is just part of living in this part of Tamilnadu. A few of us have been working here for years now, so we know the local tea stalls and where to get a quick lunch when things get busy. It is a noisy place sometimes because of the industrial work, but we are used to it. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks, keeping the copper moving through the system and making sure the logs are updated. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The 628008 area is our home base and we just keep at it day after day, year after year, just doing our part in the metal industry without too much complaining.
