Shear Consulting Engineers

Shear Consulting Engineers is our firm located at 93C/6Y/2 on 2nd Street in Teachers Colony. We are right at the Teachers Colony Junction in Thoothukudi. A good way to find us is to look for Bhanu Brindhavan Mahall, as we are right next to it. We spend our days doing structural calculations and checking engineering drawings. It is very quiet work most of the time. The office is small and tucked away, which is nice because it helps us concentrate. Thoothukudi is a coastal town, so we have to think about the salt air and how it affects buildings when we do our consulting. We aren't a big corporate office with hundreds of employees. It is just a few of us who know our way around a blueprint. Sometimes we go out to sites to see how the concrete is being poured, and other times we are stuck at our desks all day. It’s a lot of math and technical stuff that might seem boring to others, but it’s what we do. We don't have any fancy brochures or a sales team.
