Gnanamani Salt

Gnanamani Salt is located at 82 B/7 on North Street. We are just off the Thiruchendur Road in the Mullakkadu area. It is a coastal kind of place, and the air often feels heavy with moisture, which we have to watch out for because of the salt. North Street is where we have our main setup. It is a quiet enough spot most of the time, away from the main roar of the Thiruchendur Road traffic. We spend our days handling different types of salt. It is a lot of shoveling, bagging, and stacking. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to do a decent job here in Mullakkadu. The building at 82 B/7 is simple and functional. We don't have air conditioning or fancy furniture. We have heavy-duty fans and sturdy tables. Most of our work is done by hand or with simple tools. We see the same delivery drivers every week, and we have a chat while we load the trucks. It is a slow and steady kind of business. We keep an eye on the weather and keep the salt covered when the rain looks like it’s coming. It’s just how things go here on North Street. We are just a local business doing what we know best and trying to get through the day's list of chores without too much trouble.
