VRK CONTRACTORS LLP

VRK Contractors Llp is based at a house called Harisree in the Kollamkonam area of Vilappilsala. We are out in the Neyyattinkara part of Thiruvananthapuram, so it’s a bit more peaceful than being right in the city center. Working from a place like this gives us a different feel than a typical office building. We have trees around us and it’s generally a bit cooler under the shade. The office is just a couple of rooms where we keep our ledgers and our project files. It’s a family-style environment where everyone mucks in to help with whatever is needed. We don't have a big sign out front, just the house name. Most of our work comes from people who know us or have seen what we do around the neighborhood. We sit on the porch sometimes to talk about the day's tasks before heading out to the different sites. There is usually a pot of tea on the stove and someone’s dog wandering around the yard. It’s a very local way of doing things and we like the personal touch it gives our work. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do a decent job and be able to look our neighbors in the eye. It's a quiet, steady kind of life here at Harisree.
