Vasu General Store

Vasu General Store is located in Carmel Towers, right across from Cotton Hill in Vazhuthacadu, Trivandrum. It’s a pretty easy place to find if you’re in the neighborhood. We share space or are very close to Vasu Coire Products, so you might see some of those items around too. Mostly, though, we are just a general store for the local people here in the 695014 area. We carry a mix of things that folks need for their homes. I spend a lot of time here, usually from early morning until the sun goes down. It’s a nice area of Trivandrum to be in. We get a lot of people stopping by on their way to or from the local offices and schools. The shop isn’t fancy at all. We just have shelves and counters where we put our stock. Sometimes it’s a bit of a squeeze when we get a lot of items in at once. We don’t use any polished marketing or anything like that. We just talk to the people who come in and try to help them find what they are looking for. It’s been a steady job for us over the years. We’ve seen the city grow and the traffic get heavier, but the store stays pretty much the same. We just want to provide a convenient spot for the people in Vazhuthacadu.
