Rainbow Graphics

Rainbow Graphics is located right near the Juma Masjid in the Attakulangara area. It’s a lively neighborhood, and we often hear the call to prayer while we’re working on designs or finishing up a print job. The shop is small and a bit cramped because we’ve squeezed in as much equipment as we could fit. There’s usually a pile of offcuts in the corner and a few samples of our older work pinned to the walls. I started this place because I enjoyed the creative side of things, even if the business side is mostly just keeping track of invoices and supplies. We don’t have a website with fancy graphics; we mostly just rely on people walking by or hearing about us from their neighbors. It’s a bit old-fashioned that way, I suppose. The fans in the shop are always on full blast to keep the machines from overheating, and it can get quite loud in there. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a few of us who know how to handle the software and the printers. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk, and other days we are working through lunch to finish something. We try to be helpful and straightforward with everyone who comes in. It’s just a normal shop trying to do good work in a busy part of town.
