Rainbow Engineering

We are located over at Rainbow Engineering, right near the Kstrc Bus Station. Our place is on the Poovar Neyyattinkara Road in the Alummoodu area of Neyyattinkara. Because we are so close to the bus station, we hear the buses pulling in and out at all hours, and there is always a crowd of people walking past our front door. The air here is often quite humid, and the workshop can get a bit stuffy during the rainy season, but we just keep the fans going and keep working. We handle a lot of different engineering tasks, mostly involving local repairs and small-scale fabrication. The shop floor is covered with tools and spare parts, and it is rarely ever completely tidy. We do not have a front desk or a secretary; if you want to talk to us, you usually have to walk back to where we are working and wait for us to turn off a machine. We started this place because we knew how to work with our hands, and we have just kept at it since then. Most of our days are spent measuring, cutting, and welding whatever needs to be done. It is not a glamorous job, but it is what we know how to do. We usually finish up late in the evening when the bus station starts to quiet down a little bit and the streetlights come on.
