Project Engineer

Working as a Project Engineer from Ajay Sundaram 'Sagar' in Kalluvila, Neyyattinkara, gives our work a very personal feel. Thiruvananthapuram is a beautiful district, and being based in a place like Neyyattinkara means we are surrounded by greenery and a close-knit community. Our office is part of the 'Sagar' property, so it’s not your typical commercial building. It’s a place where we can actually focus on the engineering details without the constant noise of a big city center. We spend a lot of time traveling between the office and various project sites across the district. The roads here can be narrow and the rain in Kerala often changes our schedules, but we just adapt as we go. We don't have a marketing team or a shiny brochure. Most people find us because they saw our work nearby or heard about us from a neighbor. Our days are filled with checking site levels, talking to masons, and making sure the materials are up to standard. It’s a very hands-on way of working. We enjoy the process of seeing a patch of land turn into a proper structure. It takes a lot of patience and many cups of local tea to get through the paperwork and the planning stages. We are just local people doing a job we understand, right here in our own neighborhood in Kalluvila.
