Prajnha Books

Prajnha Books is situated on the ground floor of Babagan Towers. We are located right near the District Cooperative Bank in Kazhakuttyom. Being in the Thiruvananthapuram district, we get a fair amount of visitors who are either heading to the bank or just walking through the area. Our shop isn’t hidden away; it is right there on the ground floor for easy access. We focus on keeping a good variety of books available for whoever stops by. It is not a high-end boutique or anything like that. It is just a local bookstore where we do the daily work of sorting, shelving, and selling. Babagan Towers is a well-known spot in the area, so people find us easily enough. We spend our days mostly handling the stock and chatting with the people who come in. Some people are looking for something very specific, while others just want to browse the shelves for a while. We do not have a mission statement or a fancy philosophy. We just think it is good to have the books people want. It is a practical business for us. Sometimes the shop gets a bit dusty, and the stacks can get a little high, but we manage to keep it going. We have been part of the Kazhakuttyom community for a while now. It is a nice neighborhood, and being near the bank means we see a lot of the same friendly faces. We just try to be a reliable place.
