Gayathri Engineering

Gayathri Engineering is tucked away over here in Mythri Nagar, specifically at Tc-17/1498(2). Poojapura is a nice enough area, though the parking can be a bit of a headache if too many people show up at once. Our shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but we have everything we need inside to do our engineering work. Most of the time, the air is thick with the smell of metal and whatever grease we are using that day. It gets loud sometimes when the machines are all running, so we usually have to shout to hear each other. We’ve been in this spot for a good bit now, and the neighbors in Mythri Nagar-92.A are used to the noise by now, or at least they don't complain to our faces. The post office is nearby, which is handy for getting parts or sending out bits and pieces. We don't spend much time cleaning the front desk because there’s always something more urgent to fix or weld in the back. It’s a practical space for practical people. When the power goes out, which happens more than we’d like, we just sit outside on the steps and wait for it to come back. It gives us a chance to see who is walking by. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town, just a place that stays put and handles the work as it comes. Sometimes we even forget to answer the phone if the grinder is going and making a racket.
