Nic Computer Division

Our shop is in the Amina Building right in Kallambalam. If you are looking for us, we are directly across from Kairali Jewellers on the main road. It’s a pretty busy part of the street, so there’s always something going on outside our window, mostly traffic and people walking by. Inside, it’s a bit different. We deal with computers and all the headaches that come with them when they stop working. Cables are usually draped over the workbenches and there are always a few open towers sitting around waiting for parts. We spend our time trying to fix things or putting together components for people who need an upgrade. It’s not a shiny showroom like you see in the malls. It’s more of a workspace where things actually get done. We get all sorts of visitors, from students who accidentally broke their laptop screens to older folks who can't get their internet to work right at home. We try to explain things simply without using too much technical talk that confuses people. It’s just a few of us here. We’ve seen a lot of different gadgets come through these doors since we opened in the Amina Building. Sometimes we have to hunt for a part that isn't made anymore, which can be a real pain and take a lot of time. But we stay at it until the job is done. It’s a decent place to work and we enjoy being right here in the middle of town where things are always moving.
