Krishna Praseeda

My name is Krishna Praseeda. I live and work at a place called Gokulam in Pedikulam, which is under the Pulimath Post Office in Karette, Trivandrum. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the whole address, but it’s a beautiful part of the world. Things move a little slower here than they do in the big cities, and I like that. My work is done right from my home base. I don’t have a shopfront with big glass windows or anything like that. It’s just a room where I keep my things and handle my business. I started doing this because I wanted to stay in my local area instead of moving away for work. It’s quiet here most of the time, except for the birds and the occasional scooter passing by. I spend my days keeping track of what needs doing and making sure I don’t fall behind. I don't use much technology beyond what’s necessary. I prefer writing things down in a notebook so I don’t forget. It’s not a high-pressure environment, but I still put in the work every single day. People in Karette are friendly, and we all kind of know each other. I like that sense of community. I’m not trying to build some huge empire. I just want to do my part and keep things running smoothly. It’s a simple way of life, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
