Femy9 is located right at Devaswom Board Jn, which is always a bit chaotic with all the buses and cars. Being across from Sumangali Kalyanamandapam means we see a lot of people dressed up for weddings. We opened this place because we wanted something local for the people living around here. It’s not a huge store, but we pack a lot into the space we have. You’ll find rows of clothes and some accessories tucked into the corners. We spend a lot of time folding things back up after customers look through the racks. The fan makes a bit of noise, but it keeps the place cool enough on hot days. We see a lot of the same faces every week. It’s nice knowing the neighbors. Sometimes the traffic at the junction is so bad that people just walk in to wait for the road to clear. We don’t mind. It’s better than sitting in a hot car. We try to keep things organized, though it doesn't always stay that way during the busy wedding season. We’ve been at this spot for some time now and it feels like home to us. There’s always someone coming in asking for directions to the marriage hall across the street. We just point them the right way. It’s a simple business. We just sell what people like to wear and try to keep the shelves full. Life moves fast at this junction but we just keep doing our thing.
