Devu Store

I've been here at Devu Store in Priya Darshini Nagar for a while now. Most days start the same way around here in Beemapally. I unlock the door early when the air is still a bit cool and start moving some of the crates around so people can get through the aisles. It is not a very big place, just enough room for the essentials that people need when they are heading home or out to work. The shelves are mostly full but sometimes things get a bit messy during the rush. I try to keep things organized but you know how it goes when you’re busy. My family helps out sometimes when they have a break from their own things. We’ve seen a lot of people grow up around here. Some of the kids who used to come in for small treats are now adults coming in to buy things for their own kitchens. It is quiet in the mid-afternoons, which is when I usually sit back and check what we need to get more of. The light comes in through the front and hits the floor just right. I don’t have any big plans to change much. We just do what we do every day. People know where we are and what we have, so it works out fine for everyone. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late because of the traffic, but we manage to make it work.
