You can find Colonel Security Service at 1607, Near Kosakode Temple in Thirumala. Our office is right near the temple, so there’s always a bit of activity around us. We run a security business that focuses on helping out local establishments and private homes. The name comes from a respect for discipline, though we aren't all former military. We have a small room where we keep the guard schedules and the spare uniforms. The walls have a few maps of the area pinned up so we can plan the routes. It’s a lot of talking on the phone and meeting with the men who work for us. We try to make sure everyone is doing their job properly, but we know things aren't always perfect. Sometimes a guard doesn't show up and we have to scramble to find a replacement. It’s just the nature of this kind of work. Thirumala is a good place to be based, and we’ve gotten to know many of the shopkeepers around here. We don’t have a website or any big ads; people usually find us by word of mouth or by seeing our sign near the temple. We just focus on keeping things moving and making sure our clients are satisfied with the people we send. It’s a practical, local operation and that’s how we like it. We have been here for a good while.
