Cholakath Traders

Cholakath Traders is tucked away in the Anayar area, right near the post office. Our address is a bit long, Tc-30/211, House No:-21/28, but if you ask for the place near the NSS Karayagom, someone will usually point you the right way. We operate out of this house, so it feels more like a home than a strict office. We handle different kinds of trading, mostly whatever is in demand around here. There is always some paperwork to finish or boxes being moved around the porch. Being near the post office is handy for us because we send out a lot of mail. The neighborhood is mostly families, so it stays fairly peaceful compared to the city center. We don’t have a big fancy storefront with lights. It’s just us working through the orders as they come in. My brother and I started this after realizing we could do better on our own. It took a while to get the neighbors used to the extra activity, but now we are just part of the street. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit outside and wait, but that’s just how things are. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to keep the business moving and stay busy. Every day is a bit different, depending on what our customers need. It’s a decent way to earn a living here in Anayar and we enjoy the daily routine.
