Best Foods

You can find us at number 28 on Panayal Road in Periyattadukkam. Best Foods is a small operation, and we like it that way. Most of the day is spent handling the food items and making sure everything is clean. Panayal Road can be a bit quiet compared to the main town, but we get enough foot traffic. Periyattadukkam is a place where everyone knows everyone else, so we see the same faces every day. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few local people who come in to help out with the work. The building itself is nothing special, just a sturdy place to work and store our supplies. We spend a lot of time on our feet, moving bags and sorting through the stock. It’s practical work. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit messy, but that’s just how it is in this part of the country. We started Best Foods because we wanted to do something local and useful for the area. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. We just focus on the food and the people who buy it from us. The mornings are usually the busiest time when the deliveries arrive on the back of small trucks. We have to be quick to get everything inside before it gets too hot. By the evening, things slow down and we can finally sit for a bit before closing up the shutters. It’s a decent life here on Panayal Road, and we are happy to be part of the community.
