We are situated right near the Iti Junction in Attingal. If you know the main road, you know how busy it gets with all the vehicles. The noise of the buses and trucks is pretty much the soundtrack to our entire day. We are in a spot that is easy to get to, which helps when we have things coming and going at odd hours. The air is often full of exhaust and dust from the traffic, so we keep the doors mostly closed during the peak hours. Inside, it is mostly just boxes and crates waiting to be moved out. We spend a lot of time checking lists and making sure everything is labeled right before it leaves. It is a lot of physical work, and by midday, everyone is usually sweating quite a bit. We have a small corner for the paperwork, but the export business is mostly about the actual goods and keeping track of them. Attingal is a hot place, and our building does not have much in the way of cooling besides a couple of old fans that rattle. We do not really have a reception area or anything like that for visitors. If someone stops by, they usually just find us in the middle of sorting through a shipment. It is honest work, and it keeps us on our toes. Sometimes the trucks are late and we have to stay late to wait for them.
