Aishwarya Overseas Exporters

T.C. 21/441 on Nedumcaud Road is where you will find us. We operate out of Arappura Veedu, which is a traditional house in the Karamana P.O. area. Aishwarya Overseas Exporters is a small family-run outfit and we use part of the house as our main office and packing area. It’s a bit crowded with boxes and shipping crates waiting to be sent out. Living and working in the same place means the work never really stops. We deal with exporters and shipping agents all day long. Karamana is a beautiful part of town, but the traffic on Nedumcaud Road can be a nightmare when we are trying to get a van loaded up. We handle all sorts of products that need to go overseas, so there’s always something new to wrap or label. It smells like cardboard and packing tape in the main hall. We don't have a website or anything like that because we’ve always just worked through word of mouth and old contacts. My wife helps with the accounts and the kids sometimes help with the labeling after school. It’s a busy household and a busy business all rolled into one. When it rains, which it does a lot here, we have to be extra careful to keep the boxes dry. It’s a simple way to make a living and we’ve been doing it this way for a long time now. We enjoy the work and the people we meet along the way.
