Our college is situated out at No. 488, Plot No. 33 in Kailash Nagar, which is in the Thiruninravur part of Chennai. We are quite close to Jaya Engineering College, so there are always plenty of students in this general area. This place is specifically for those who want to get into teaching, so the atmosphere is usually a bit more focused on the academic side of things. The building itself is a standard concrete structure that handles the Chennai heat as well as it can. We have several lecture halls and a library that stays pretty quiet most of the day. You won't find anything too flashy here; it’s just a practical space designed for learning. Students come from various parts of the city and some even travel quite a distance to get here for their classes. We spend a lot of time on the usual administrative tasks, like keeping track of records and making sure the syllabus is being followed. The staff room is usually a mess of papers and textbooks, which is pretty typical for an education college. During the breaks, students usually head out to the local shops nearby to grab a quick snack or a drink. It’s a simple setup that has been part of this neighborhood for years. We don’t have a big PR department or anything like that. It’s just a place where people come to study so they can eventually start their own careers in classrooms.
