Stanson Agri Farms Private Limited is located in Mel Ayyanambakkam, which is right on the edge of Chennai. We are at No.2B, and it’s a bit of an interesting spot because the city is so close, yet we are still focused on the farming side of things. It’s a busy area, and the traffic can be a real pain sometimes, but once you get inside the gate, things quiet down a bit. We have a small group of people working here who handle the day-to-day tasks. It isn't a glamorous job, and we often go home with dirt under our fingernails, but that’s the reality of agri-work. We spend a lot of our time making sure everything is running smoothly on the land. Sometimes the rains in Chennai are too much, and other times it’s too dry, so we’re always adjusting. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just do the work and try to stay organized. Our office at Ayyanambakkam is where we keep the books and plan out the week. It’s a simple building without any unnecessary frills. We’ve been in this part of Tamil Nadu for a while now, and we’ve gotten used to the pace of things. It’s just us trying to make the most of the land we have and keeping the business going as best we can. It’s a lot of physical work, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
