Our place is at No. 102 on the Main Road in Kavarappalaiyam, which is part of Ambattur. Ambattur is a very busy industrial and residential area, so there’s always a lot of movement and noise outside our windows. At Instant Digital Solution, we spend our time working on various digital projects for people. It’s the kind of work where you really have to be patient and pay attention to all the small details. We have a very regular office setup—a bunch of computers, some shelves filled with old files, and a few plants that we sometimes forget to water during the week. The team is just a few local people who happen to be quite good with technology. We don’t really have a strict hierarchy or anything like that in the office. Whoever is free at the moment usually just takes on the next task that comes in. We’ve been here for some time now and we know the neighbors and the local shopkeepers pretty well. The main road is always busy with buses and trucks, so there’s a constant hum of traffic in the background. We like being in Ambattur because it’s a very practical and grounded place to be. We aren’t trying to be the biggest or the flashiest company out there. We just want to get our work done right so we can go home. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts, but that’s just part of life here.
