Aingharan Spices India Private Limited

We are out in Thirumullaivoyal at Plot No.66 on 16th Street. It is in the Saravana Nagar area near Manikandapuram. The smell of the spices is the first thing you notice when you get close to our door. It’s a strong scent, but we’ve grown to like it over the years. We spend our days sorting through different products. It’s a lot of bags and containers. The work can be a bit dusty, so we wear masks and old clothes. We aren't a big corporation with fancy lobbies. Our office is just a small room with a desk and a few chairs. Most of the action happens in the back where the storage is. The 600062 area is a bit of a trek from the city center, but it’s where we found a good spot to work. The street is usually quiet, except for when the delivery vans arrive. We know the drivers by their first names. Sometimes we have tea together if they aren't in too much of a rush. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just handle spices and make sure they go where they need to go. It’s a practical business. We worry about things like humidity and shelf life. That’s about it. We’ve been here long enough that we feel like part of the neighborhood now and people stop by.
