The Little Flower Nursery & Primary School

The Little Flower Nursery & Primary School is found in Jakkampatti, which is right in the Andipetti area of Theni. It’s a simple building that has been part of this community for quite a while. We handle the education for the small children around here, from the nursery ages up through the primary levels. Jakkampatti is a place where everyone kind of knows what is going on, so the school is a familiar spot for most families. We have several classrooms that are usually quite loud with the sound of kids reciting their lessons. The weather in Theni can be dry and dusty, so we spend a lot of time sweeping out the hallways to keep it clean for the students. We have basic wooden benches and desks in the rooms. There isn't a big staff, just a few teachers and someone to help with the cleaning and the gate. People usually walk their kids here or bring them on a motorbike. We don't have big yellow buses or anything like that. During the monsoon, the rain can get heavy on the roof, making it hard to hear the teacher, but we just keep going. It’s a humble place without any big signs or advertisements. We just focus on getting through the syllabus every year and making sure the kids learn how to read and write properly. It's just a regular local school doing its thing.
