Kerala Agro Park

We are located at No:9/11/10 in Andipatti, which is where we run Kerala Agro Park. It’s more of a functional workspace than a park, despite the name. We deal with various agricultural products that come in from the local farms and go out to the markets. The building is large and open to keep the air moving, though it still gets stuffy when we have a lot of grain or produce stored inside. Most of our days are spent checking the condition of what comes in and making sure everything is stored properly so it doesn't spoil. The staff here is small, mostly just people from the local village who know about farming and crops. We don't have any fancy carpets or air-conditioned offices. It’s mostly concrete floors and high ceilings. Sometimes the machinery we use for packing acts up, and we have to spend a few hours fixing it ourselves with a wrench and some oil. We get a lot of trucks coming through the gates, and the noise of the engines is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. We don't do much in the way of promotion; we just rely on the fact that the farmers in the Andipatti area know where we are and what we do. It’s steady work that follows the seasons of the land.
