Coonoor is a beautiful place to live, but it’s also where we decided to set up Yabesh Infotech. Our office is at No. 203C in the Ottupattarai area. It’s definitely cooler up here in the hills than down in the plains of Tamil Nadu. Working in a place like this changes how you think about things. It’s not as rushed as the big cities. We handle a lot of info-tech tasks, but we do it at a pace that allows us to actually think. The building we’re in is pretty modest. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. Usually, it’s just the sound of keyboards and the occasional rain on the roof. We started this because we wanted to stay in the hills and still do the kind of technical work we’re good at. It’s a small team, and we all know each other well. We don't have fancy titles or big departments. If something needs to be fixed, whoever is free just handles it. It’s a simple way to run a business. We get our work done, look out at the greenery, and then head home. People in Ottupattarai know us as those tech folks in the 203C building. We don't need much more than that. It’s a quiet life, but the work is steady and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week. We just keep things moving as best as we can.
