Mh Steel & Sheets is at 67, Summer House Colony, up in Ooty. Being in the hills makes for a different kind of workday than if we were down in the plains. The air is thinner and cooler, and sometimes the mist rolls in so thick you can’t see the other side of the colony. Our place is at number 67, and it’s a fairly simple setup. We deal with a lot of steel and sheets, so the cold metal can really bite your fingers in the winter mornings before the sun comes up. The colony is usually pretty quiet compared to the main town area, which we like. We have enough space to store our materials, though it gets a bit tight when a large shipment arrives. The building itself is an older one, with the kind of character you only find in Ooty. We spend most of our time organizing the sheets and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s a lot of physical labor, and by the end of the day, we’re usually pretty tired. There is a small tea stall just down the road where we go when we need a break from the cold. We don't have any big signs or fancy lights. People who need us usually know where to find us in Summer House Colony. It’s a steady way to make a living in a beautiful place.
