Homely Fresh

We are located over on S Bathery Road at number 21/6. Being up here in the Nilgiris makes a difference for what we handle. It's usually a bit cooler, which helps keep things from wilting too fast. We mostly deal with fresh items, which is why we picked the name Homely Fresh. It wasn't anything complicated, just felt right for what we were doing. We spend our mornings checking what came in and making sure it's good enough to send out. The road gets a bit busy sometimes, but we’ve gotten used to the noise. We aren't a big corporation with suits and meetings. It’s mostly just us in work clothes, handling the crates and talking to the drivers who drop stuff off. Sometimes we run a bit behind if the weather is bad on the hills, but that’s just how it goes living in this part of the country. We try to keep things simple. If something isn't fresh, we don't bother with it. Most of the people working here have lived in the Nilgiris their whole lives, so we know the local spots well. It's a small operation, really. We just want to make sure the food we send out is the same kind of stuff we’d eat at home. There’s always someone here at 21/6 if you need to ask a question about what’s in stock this week. We don't have a flashy office, just a desk and some storage space.
