Our place is right on 27A Trichy Main Road, which means there is a lot of traffic passing by all day. It’s a bit noisy with the buses and cars, but we like being where things are happening. We started this small venture a few years back and it has been a steady climb. We aren't a big corporation or anything like that. It’s just a handful of us working here. The shop is simple and we keep what people need. Sometimes we run out of space because the building isn't huge. We spend a lot of time talking to folks who stop by while they are traveling down the main road. It gets dusty being so close to the highway, so there is always some cleaning to do. We don't have a big marketing budget. Most people find us because they saw the sign or a friend told them where we were. We try to be helpful and just get through the daily tasks. It’s a lot of manual work and checking stock. Sometimes the rains make the front entrance a bit of a mess, but we manage. It is a straightforward business without any hidden extras. We’re just local people doing what we know and trying to stay busy. It can get tiring but that's just life on the main road.
