Site Engineer

We are Site Engineer, based out of Gnanam Nagar in Thanjavur. Our spot is right over at 116/2, 8th Cross West, near the Mariamman Koil Post. It is just a small operation here, mostly a few of us who spend most of our days out in the sun looking at dirt and concrete. People around here know the 8th Cross well. It is not a fancy office, just a place where we keep our tools and some dusty paperwork. Most of the time, our boots are muddy because we are checking on foundations or measuring up plots. It gets pretty hot in Thanjavur, but we are used to it by now. We started this because there was a lot of building going on in the neighborhood and folks needed someone who actually shows up. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. If you come by the office and nobody is there, we are probably just down the road at a site. We try to keep things simple. Dealing with permits and local workers takes up a lot of our time. Sometimes the rain slows things down, but that is just how it goes in this part of Tamil Nadu. We just focus on the job at hand, making sure things are level and the walls go up where they should. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late. We have been in this spot for a while now.
