If you find yourself near the New Bus Stand, you’re basically at our doorstep here at N. S. P. Numotech Inc. Our address is 250/1C, Vallam Road, and it’s a place that stays busy because of all the buses and people moving through the area. Working so close to a transport hub means there is always something happening outside. Inside our space, things are a bit more focused. We deal with various technical components and machinery, so there’s often a bit of oil on the rags or tools laying out on the benches. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear your best clothes. We have a small crew, and we’ve all been together long enough to know each other’s habits. The office part is just a few desks squeezed in where there was room. We drink a lot of coffee to stay alert, and the radio is usually playing somewhere in the background, though nobody can ever agree on the station. The walls are covered with calendars and old charts that have been there for years. It’s a practical environment for practical work. Vallam Road can get pretty dusty, so we spend a fair amount of time dusting off the equipment. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. We just know how to handle the machines and get the parts out to people who need them. It’s honest work in a loud, busy part of town.
