Arun Gateways

Arun Gateways has been sitting here at 3/173-A on North Street in Devankudi for quite some time now. We are just past the Manalur Post area. It’s a small place, nothing too flashy, but it works for what we need to do every day. Most of the people around here know us by name. We get started early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. Sometimes the North Street traffic gets a bit backed up, but we just keep at it. Our building isn't much to look at, just a practical space where we handle our daily tasks. We deal with various bits and pieces that come our way. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping track of papers. My cousin helps out during the busier months when there is more to move around. We don't spend money on big signs or fancy lights. The old painted sign out front does the job well enough for us. If you are coming from the main road, you just turn toward the post office and keep going. We've had some leaky roof issues lately, but we patched them up last week. It’s just how things go when you run a local spot. We keep the doors open as long as there is work to finish. It is a steady life here in Devankudi. We don't make a big fuss about things. We just show up, do the work, and then head home.
