Paramakudi is a decent place to be, and our office in Vaigai Nagar is right in the heart of it. We’ve been operating out of this building for a while now. It’s a simple setup with a couple of rooms and a small veranda where we sometimes sit when the power is out. The walls are painted a light green that’s starting to fade near the windows. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture. Most of it is stuff we’ve picked up over the years. It’s a bit of a quiet neighborhood, though you get the occasional cow wandering past the gate or the sound of someone’s radio playing nearby. We handle a variety of agency work, which basically means a lot of paperwork and talking to people on the phone. We don't have a big corporate philosophy. We just try to get through the list of things to do each day. The afternoons can be pretty hot, so we usually shut the blinds and keep the fans going. Sometimes neighbors stop by just to chat for a minute, which is nice. We know most of the people on this street. It’s the kind of place where you don't feel like a stranger. We aren't looking to expand into a giant company. We like the scale we’re at right now. It’s manageable and it lets us live our lives without too much stress. Just a local agency doing its bit in Vaigai Nagar.
