We are located out in Mira Road East, specifically in Sector 5 of Shanti Nagar. Our shop is 4B-25. If you live around here, you know that Mira Road has grown so much lately, and it’s always got something going on. Shanti Nagar is one of those areas where everything is packed together, with shops on the ground floor and people living right above. Our place is quite small, and we have a lot of stuff crammed into the shelves. There are usually parts and pieces lying around on the main table where we work. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is kept. The entrance is a bit narrow, so if two people are coming in at the same time, it gets a bit tight. We get a lot of dust from the road because it’s a busy sector with lots of bikes and vans going past all the time. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, and we just sit there and wait for it to come back on, chatting with whoever is in the shop. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and we’ve become a part of the local scenery. Most of our day is spent at the workbench or talking to people from the neighborhood who stop in. It’s a practical little shop, meant for getting things done rather than looking pretty. It’s just us doing our bit in Shanti Nagar every day.
