Warps & Wefts

Warps & Wefts is tucked away in Indiranagar, specifically on 7th Main over in HAL 2nd Stage. If you have ever tried to find parking around 2nd Cross, you know it can be a bit of a headache. Our place at No 458 isn't some massive warehouse; it’s more of a working space where things actually happen. We deal with a lot of textiles and threads every single day. The name kind of gives that away if you know anything about weaving. There are usually rolls of material sitting in the corners and the smell of fabric is always in the air. We’ve been in this part of Bangalore for a good while now, watching the cafes and big shops pop up all around us. Despite all the fancy buildings nearby, we just keep doing what we do. It gets a bit crowded inside when a new shipment comes in, and we have to move things around just to find a place to sit. Most of our day is spent checking over orders or talking to people who stop by the shop. It isn't a quiet office environment by any means. There's always someone moving something or a phone ringing on a desk covered in papers. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It's just a bunch of us working with cloth and making sure things get sent out to where they need to go.
