Vishal Mahakalkar

If you know the Kopri bus stop in Thane East, then you’ve probably walked right past where I work more than once. My name is Vishal Mahakalkar and I’m based out of Laxmi Niwas. It’s an older building on the first floor in Chendani. I’ve lived in this area for years, so setting up my business here felt like the natural thing to do. It’s not a polished office with air conditioning in every corner, but it’s comfortable and it gets the job done. The street outside is always moving, especially with the buses coming and going all day. Sometimes I take a break and just watch the crowd from the window for a few minutes. My work is pretty simple and I don't try to make it sound more complicated than it is. I handle things as they come in, mostly by myself or with a bit of help when things get piled up. I think people appreciate that I’m just a local guy they can talk to without going through a bunch of managers or automated phone lines. I don't have a mission statement or anything like that stuck on the wall. I just show up, do the work, and hope it helps someone out. It’s a practical way to live, and being in the 400603 pin code area means I’m close to everything I need anyway. It’s just a normal business in a normal Thane neighborhood.
